FAQ
Answers to some common, and some less common questions.
I use an integrative therapy approach, meaning I draw on insights and techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities and adapt them to meet each client’s unique needs. Every person is different, and integrative counselling recognizes and respects these differences. As a result, therapy is tailored and individualized for each client.
I commonly incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Assigning therapy “homework” can help clients practice and reinforce new skills between sessions. I also recognize that homework may not be realistic for everyone, particularly those with busy schedules. During our initial session, we will discuss whether incorporating homework into therapy would be helpful and appropriate for you.
I offer in-person and online sessions:
Regular Session
50 minutes - $190
Extended Session
80 minutes - $270
Couples Session
50 minutes - $210

What is your cancellation policy?
Scheduling an appointment is a commitment that both counsellors and clients honour. Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled if 24 hours notice is provided.
