FAQ

Answers to some common, and some less common questions.

I use an integrative therapy approach. This means I combine the insights and tools from various therapies in an adaptive way for each client. Every person is unique, and integrative counselling allows for and acknowledges these differences. Therapy is therefore individualized for each client.

I commonly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychotherapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Assigning therapy “homework” can help clients practice new skills during the week. I also understand that homework may not be suited to some client’s busy lives. In our initial session together, we will discuss whether or not you would like homework to be a part of your therapy.

I offer in-person and online sessions:

Regular Session

50 minutes - $160

Extended Session

80 minutes - $210

Please reach out through this site's contact section if you have financial barriers and are unable to pay my full rate.

I offer in-person and telehealth services. Please contact me for my office location.

What is your cancellation policy?

Scheduling an appointment is a commitment that both counsellors and clients honour. Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled if 24 hours notice is provided.
